Moraitika appeals to a cosmopolitan mix of families, younger couples and young people and provides plentiful budget to mid-range accommodation for them. The resort has grown tremendously over recent years, and now merges with the nearby resort of Messonghi.
Moraitika beach is a popular long mixture of sand and shingle with warm, shallow water for safe bathing and swimming for children. You can also enjoy boat trips and go-karting or find small secluded bays to a long beautiful sandy beach. There are at least a dozen fast food outlets, as well as plenty of restaurants, on the main road which tend to supply solid rather than exceptional food.
